ABLA (Alternate Binaural Loudness Balance Test) :- PROCEDURE
This test is especially designed audiometers which can alternately send two tones of thesame frequenct in the two ears. The tone stays for a duration og half to one second in each ear, but the duration of the tone must be euqal in the two ears. The intensity of the tone in either ear is controlled by two seperate attenuators, one for each ear.
INSTRUCTION:-
The patient is instructed about the process of the process of the test, and it is explained to the patient that he will have to indicte in which ear the sound apperas to be appear to be louder, and ultimately say when the sound in the two ears apperas to be of equal loudess .
