                    AUDITORY PATHWAY (continue) -3rd order NEURONS lie in the superior olivary nucleus. The axons cross from lateral lemniscus and reach the inferior colliculus.                                                           4th order NEURONS lie in the inferior colliculus. Their axons pass through the inferior branchium to reach the medial geniculate body.                                               5th order NEURONS lie in the medial geniculate body. Their axons from the auditory radiation which passes through the part of the internal capsule to reach the auditory area in the temporal lobe.
