EXTERNAL AUDIOTARY MEATUS:-It is also called ear canal .It is 9 mm high by 6.5 mm wide and roughly 2.5 cm to 3.5 cm long .It is S like pathway.The cartilage portion of canal contain Hairs as well as plentiful distrution of sebaceous (oil) and ceruminous(wax) gland. These help to keep the canal free from debris and foregins bodies and insects.
