EXTERNAL AUDITORY CANAL is about 4 cm long and consist of an Outer ear and inner ear part. The outer portion is lined with Hairy skin containing sweat glands and oily Sebaceous glands together from ear wax. FUNCTION OF EAC is to protect ear drum . Resonator provides about 10 dB of gain to the ear drum .
