LEARNING Disability is a syndrome found in children of normal or above intelligence characterized by specific difficulties in Learning to read( Dyslexia) , to write (Dysgraphia ) and to do appropriate mathematics (Dyscalculia).Characteristics of LEARINING DISABILITY Children are LD is a mixed group of disorder, LD may transcend the school setting and persist in adulthood, Boys are more likely to be characterized as LD than girls, Delay in development milestone, Student may show problem in one area not in the other, Students with learning disabilities often experience poor auditory and visual discrimination, Difficulty in understanding pragmatic aspects of Language and also show word finding difficulties, Problem in Recalling math facts, Writing number legibly , Learning arithmetic concepts and abstract MATH reasoning, DYSLEXIA is characterized by serious reading problem .Disorder of memory and thinking, Problem in short or long term memory( acquiring and recalling information) and in meta-cognition.
