TYPES OF LEARNING DISABILITIES
1.AUDITORY PROCESSING DISORDER Individual with auditory processing disorder also known as central processing disorder. Do not recognize differences between sounds and words. They find difficulty to tell where the sound exactly coming from. 2. DYSCALCULIA is a specific learning disability that effect a person’s ability to understand numbers and learn math facts. Having difficulty to telling time, trouble with counting, poor comprehension of math symbols, memorizing and organizing numbers. 3.DYSGRAPHIA is a specific learning disability that effect a person’s handwriting and fine motor skills, poor spelling, poor spatial planning on paper, difficulty in composing writing as well as thinking and writing at the same time.4 DYSLEXIA is a learning disability that affect Reading and Language based skills. Decoding reading, recall, writing, spelling and sometimes speech can exist along with other related disorder.5.LANGUAGE PROCESSING DISORDER is a Difficulty attaching meaning that form words, sentences and stories. Affect interpretation of sounds coming from brain. Affect expressive language and receptive language.
