What is the occupation therapy? Occupation word ka meaning hota hai ki koi bhi ( kam - dhandha) . Ye word ager kisi bhi Bade person k liye use kiya jaye toh iska matlab hota hai (व्यवसाय ) । lekin ager isi word ko hum kisi child se connect kare toh iska matlab hoga us bache ke daily routine ke work. Sabhi apni daily routine mein koi na koi kam krte hi hai. Lekin hum bat krenge ki ek bache ka occupation kya hota hai?.. Like.. Ek bache ka occupation hai playing, Brush karna, Clothes khud se wear karna, Hair ko comb karna Toilet Khud se jana or khud se clean karna, shirt k botton khud se band krna , ager koi bacha school ja rha hai toh khud se home work krna, learn karna or Sabse main ye hai ki dusre bacho k sath syi se khel pana ya baat krna.. Ye sab bacho ke occupation hai. Ab hum baat karte hai occupation therapy ki.. .. Iska matlab yehi h ki jo bhi bacho ka occupation hai agr un sb mein bache ko koi bhi Problem aa rhi hai ya use apne self work karne mein dusro ki help leni padti hai toh in sbhi probleme ko( OT occupation therapy) se recover kiya jata hai.. Isme sb se pehle bache ke behavior ko asses kiya jata hai then uske occupation mein aa rhi problem ke hisab se usko occupational therapy di jati hai.. Isme sb se pehele bache ko proper way mein asses kiya jata hai or phir uski therapy ko design kiya jata hai or ye bhi dekha jayega ki bache ka level kam h ya jyada . Usko kis - kis therapy ki jarurat padegi.. Or phir uska schedule bnaya jayega then uski therapy start ki jati hai. Ab hum ek example ke dawara samjege ki Autistic bacho ko OT ki jarurt kiu padti hai. Jese ki agar ek bacha 6 years ka hogya hai or use khud se brush karna nhi ata, ya vo khud se toilet nhi jaa rha , ya khud se Nahata nhi hai. Toh yha ek therapist ye dekhega ki usko ye sabhi challenges kiu aa rhe hai. Uski Physical conditions ki vja se , ya coordinative behavior ki vja se ya Mentally issue ki vjha se, ya uske sensory issues ki vja se... In sab bato ko pehle therapist asses krega or phir uski occupational therapy start ki jayegi.. OT ki help se bacha independent ho jata hai. Ab autism bache ko sensory issues bohut hote hai.... Iska matlab hota hai ki humare sabhi body parts sahi tarike se work kar rhe h ya nhi... Like hum sahi se sun pa rhe hai, dekh pa rhe hai, kisi cheez ko samaj paa rhe, koi bula rha hai toh usko reply kr pa rhe h , kisi cheez mein focus kr pa rhe hai etc... Ab autistic bache kisi bhi information ko sahi se nhi le pate or unka brain Processing bhi bohut slow work karta hai... Unke sabhi sensory issues ko pehle therapist khud samajta hai or fir unke hisab se therapy desin karta hai. Sabse pehle vo bache ko commands ko samjna sikhate hai like idhar ayo... Yeh dedo... Ye mam hai.. Udher jao... Ye uthao... Ye sabhi commands OT mein di jati hai. Ab hum bat karte hai jo bacha school jata ho or uski writing mein problem ho ya phir uski hand griping mein dikat ho toh ye sabhi problems OT se recover ho skti hai. Lekin sbse Pehle OT mein uski basic need ko thik kiya jata ha like... like... Sitting, clapping, hello, bye, probably walk krna, probably run karna, cycling, swing syi se karna etc.... OT occupational therapy se bcha independent ho jata hai..
